Eye tracking

The FAI has an eye tracking laboratory for the investigation of questions concerning the computer workstation. Two FaceLAB systems are available and can be used simultaneously. FaceLAB is a non-contact, camera-based tracking system, which follows the eye movement by means of two cameras and an infrared reflection on the eye surface. Additionally, certain points of the human facial expression can be tracked, e.g. to draw conclusions about the affective state of the individual. The system works with a tracking frequency of 60 Hz.
