With the project “Competence Development through Interdisciplinary Networking from the Very Beginning” ("Kompetenzentwicklung durch interdisziplinäre Vernetzung von Anfang an“), the Technische Universität Darmstadt has initiated numerous measures aimed at improving study conditions and strengthening the interdisciplinary orientation.
The KIVA project pursued the following objectives:
- inspire students to study STEM subjects,
- to intensify interdisciplinary networking in teaching,
- to promote student engagement
- and to strengthen the introductory study phase.
