Dr. Verena Zimmermann is a researcher in the working group “Work and Engineering Psychology” at the Department of Psychology since 2016. Working in different research projects within the National Research Center for Applied Cybersecurity (CRISP) Dr. Verena Zimmermann is concerned with Human Factors in Security and Safety. In 2020 she successfully completed her dissertation with the title “From the Quest to Replace Passwords towards Supporting Secure and Usable Password Creation”.
Further research interests include aviation psychology, personnel development/ training, interdisciplinary product development, and usability.
